Games and Comics for Ukraine™ is an organization founded by David Wheeler and David Dodson to support humanitarian efforts and positively impact the mental wellbeing of both children and soldiers alike. Partnered with ComicBooks for Kids! ™, we are working together to get essential entertainment to children, soldiers, and English students in Ukraine. 

With the ongoing war, there is a critical need for reading material, positive distraction, entertainment and any item that can support literacy. Not only is English now one of Ukraine’s official languages, but comics and games have a unique ability to draw in readers and participants. Comics and games are valuable for education as well as entertainment and diversion.

In collaboration with USA retailers, publishers, and distributors, surplus inventory of comics and games will be donated and distributed through a network that starts in western Ukraine and ends in hundreds of classrooms, shelters, libraries and rehabilitation centers across the country.

Fully tax-deductible to the retailers, this surplus inventory will be delivered – at their cost – to a common location in the USA. From there, these comics and games will be shipped to western Ukraine by a New Jersey-based Ukrainian/American shipping company Meest-America, where they will be sorted according to specific destinations.
